- RELIEF FOOD DISTRIBUTION – LUSITU CHIRUNDU DISTRICT
Lusitu in Chirundu District is one of the places that were acutely affected by the draught that hit the southern part of Zambia. Majority of the people in this area had little or no food at all. Zambia Baptist Association in partnership with Liebenzell Missions International (LMI) responded with a food distribution aid of maize totaling 27.5 metric tones on 5th November 2019.
2. RELIEF FOOD DISTRIBUTION – NABWALYA MPIKA DISTRICT
Nabwalya is an area in the valley northern part of Zambia which experiences extreme weather parterns from season to season. 2018/2019 season, Nabwalya area experienced extraordinary heavy rainfalls causing floods and destroying maize fields causing a hunger situation in the area. Zambia Baptist Association in partnership with LMI responded with 17.5 metric tones of relief maize aid distribution.
